Kylie is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) & lives on a small farm near Toowoomba with her husband & 3 children. Kylie became passionate about nutrition when all of her children were born with allergies & intolerances and she also became very unwell with asthma, allergies, food intolerances and hormone issues. Her search for answers led her to uncover the amazing healing qualities of real food and how our bodies can heal themselves given the right nutrition and environment to do so.
As an FNTP Kylie works with clients using the healing power of real whole food and the body’s innate intelligence and ability to heal itself. FNTPs look at each person holistically, looking to uncover “why” the body is presenting with symptoms rather than just suppressing these symptoms. By addressing the underlying dysfunction in foundational areas such as digestion, blood sugar regulation and stress, Kylie works with clients to support and restore proper function within the body to allow it to recover.
Kylie also possesses a unique skillset called the Functional Clinical Assessment where nutrient deficiencies and the health of organs and body systems can be evaluated through a series of non-invasive tests on the body. Through this process Kylie creates a set of individual recommendations for food and nutrients to help to bring the body’s systems back into balance to allow healing.
