The Downs runs along the Great Dividing Range, continuing down to Stanthorpe and The Granite Belt regions. It sweeps over to Inglewood and Goondiwindi, then onto the Southern Downs. This encompasses Millmerran, Dalby and the Western Downs and finally, it swings over to the north – Crow’s Nest and Ravensbourne.

With growth on the horizon, the estimated population of Toowoomba as of June 2017 was 135,631 people. Toowoomba is situated approximately 700 metres above sea level on the edge of the Great Dividing Range and located 127kms or a 90 minute drive west of Brisbane.

Known for its excellent educational facilities, the Darling Downs boasts many public, private and boarding schools, as well as the TAFE and University Of Southern Queensland.

Also a cathedral city, Toowoomba is home to many breathtaking churches.

With more than 250 public parks and gardens in Toowoomba, the region hosts internationally-renowned events that see people cross the globe year after year. The spectacular floral displays in these parks have lead to Toowoomba being affectionately known as the ‘Garden City’.
